Three sisters founded Art of Americus with the dream of creating whimsical, high-quality stationery and gifts. We love partnering with minority and women owned businesses to craft thoughtful American-made products created with organic and natural materials.
While road tripping across America we like to explore historic main streets of old towns and villages. On these trips we have discovered so many communities collectively investing in the restoration and revitalization of their historic downtown areas to celebrate their original architecture and local specialties. While most historic districts provide new opportunities to support local businesses – we find too many of their lovely shops filled with mass-produced, touristy products made with low-quality materials. It was on one such trip that the concept for Art of Americus was born. Our business name celebrates Americus, Georgia, the small town where our grandparents settled for many years.
